on game night or contact us via phone or e-mail. Croydon and Districts Volleyball association runs three
separate competitions:
- Tuesday night (open competition)
- Thursday night (open competition)
- Thursday afternoon (junior competition)
The Open competitions (Tuesday and Thursday) are split into two seasons -
Autumn (begins late January) and Spring (begins mid July). |
Each season runs for around
20 weeks of home and away games and 3 weeks of finals. There is a 4-5 week break
following the end of Spring season in late December until the start of the Autumn season
the following calendar year. The Open competitions are run in both stadiums over three time slots: 6:55pm, 8:10pm and
9:25pm. Matches are best of 5 sets or maximum 1 hour duration. Finals matches
are best of 5 sets with no time limit. The Junior Competition runs during
the school year on Thursday evenings and Croydon Leisure Centre. There are two
dedicated time slots: 5:05pm and 5:55pm with additional matches being run at 6:45pm if
required. Matches are best of 5 sets or maximum 40 minute duration. |
